Keraton Solo

It's the holidays...Lebaran!! (Maaf lahir batin yaa...)

I started to read Romo Mangun's "Burung-burung Manyar" a few days ago when I had Cuplis' regular service-check. An old book, first published in 1981.. I was only 2 years old that year :p
I've read until chapter 6 only, but I like it already. A mix of romance, fight, javanese culture, the royal family of Keraton in particular, the Dutch and Japanese occupation here - historical view, etc.
I should finish this book soon :) I have a dozen more to go :p

I'm currently spending my holidays in Solo, another center of Keraton beside Yogyakarta. I'm still accounted as one of the royal family which is called "Kasunanan" in Solo, but I've never had any interest in knowing more than just "you're in it". But reading the book gave me another glimpse of what it is (still my interest doesn't grow that much though :p).

Anyway, I just want to say that I'm enjoying my holidays with the whole big family and Cuplis :)
